Linty Toes

Check out the lint in this kids long toes! I think it's so funny how much lint gets stored between baby fingers and toes...I had to catch this shot of his foot the other day.

Happy boy

Cole is so quick to smile I just love it. All you have to do is look at him and he grins ear to ear. We had family over for Mother's Day and people are having a hard time deciding who he looks like. I feel the same way. I look at him sometimes and I think-where did you come from?! He looks sooo different than Allie did. His blue eyes are such a contrast to Allison's dark brown eyes.

Crazy hair!

Allison has never had a lot of hair, and I lack the ability to make her lack of hair look cute. We had some guests stay with us this last week and I think after Dan saw how cute Allison looked when our friend did her hair--he must have realized that it's not Allison's fault she always looks like she just woke up. The only problem is that after a nap... it without fail looks crazy. I made my first attempt to do it myself on Mother's Day but we were running so behind I had to do half of it in the car on the way to church. It looked halfway decent until we were driving home and Allison yanked it all out.

Cross Eyed

We went to a reception the other day and this guy Dan knows was holding Cole and he said, "Oh, he is so cute...whoa! He can't focus yet!" I finally caught the look he often gets. He was trying to eat his hand.

Sunday Dress

I just couldn't get over how cute Cole and Allison looked today for church. Cole is so darn smiley lately and Allison was sporting her new flower clips I made yesterday.

Smile!

Did you ever wonder why people always use silly noises around babies? Well... here's why. When they give you looks like this it makes you want to eat them up. I love the double chin especially. He already looks different than this but we keep this picture on our desktop background because it brings a smile to our faces every time we see it.

Do not leave your child unattended

This is the kind of stuff that happens when you're paying attention to something else. Allison was actually at my feet while I was doing my make-up and she was copying me with some eye liner--although I wasn't paying attention to what exactly she was doing. Then, during this little lipstick episode, I was trying to find a babysitter so Dan and I could go out... a much needed night out after I saw this. I fear that by working on this blog, I might encounter more of these incidents. Hope not.
